Screenpipe Workflows

Hi all, Louis here.

Most of what you know about how you work is never written down. It lives in the tabs you open, the checks you make, and the decisions between one step and the next. Before an AI can help, you have to explain it all again.

We’re building Workflows into Screenpipe to turn that context into processes you can inspect, correct, and teach to your agent. Here’s a first look.

It continuously learns how your company work, map workflows, and create AI agents.

See how the work gets done

Workflows uses the screen and audio history to propose the steps behind your work. In this example, a bug report moves through Intercom, Linear, and Slack. Open a step, check the captured moment behind it, and correct anything it missed.

Find what is worth improving

You can use the map to understand your week, document a recurring process, or decide what is worth automating. Here, the same app version and reproduction steps get checked in three tools. That gives you a specific question to investigate: which checks are necessary, and which could be shared?

We’re also adding estimated time per run, with the observed runs behind the estimate. This is elapsed time, including pauses, rather than a timesheet of active work. Your work profile adds your role and priorities to the analysis.

Give your agent the steps

Once the map looks right, choose Create skill. Review the instructions, fill in missing details, and add your rules. For a support workflow, that could be: prepare the reply, but leave sending to me.

Choose Install in my agents, then copy the suggested prompt into a new chat in a listed app. The skill gives your agent a starting point grounded in your work. You still choose when to run it and review the result.

Your work stays yours. Recordings stay on your device by default. Using cloud AI sends relevant context to your chosen provider.
